Eligibility
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
✔ Valid Oklahoma Address
You currently have a valid Oklahoma address
✔ Valid Oklahoma Commercial Driver License
You currently have a valid Oklahoma address

If your current last name is different from your identification documents, you will need documentation connecting your name on your primary and secondary IDs to your current name, such as a marriage license, divorce decree, adoption decree, etc.

You may choose to update or change your CDL self-certification status during renewal. More information can be found here.

Holders of a Hazardous Materials endorsement must take the written test for the Hazardous Materials endorsement at each renewal.
You will also be required to complete an additional TSA background check at each renewal.
Licensed Operators cannot renew Hazardous Materials endorsements.
Bring the following documents to your visit:
Primary ID — View the list of all acceptable primary identification documents
One (1) Proof of Oklahoma residency — View the list of all acceptable residency documents. If your residency has changed, two (2) proofs of Oklahoma residency are required.
A valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT medical card), if you plan to operate in non-excepted interstate commerce (i.e. leaving Oklahoma with CDL vehicles)
At Your Visit
Once you have prepared the required documents, Visit our location M-F, 9:00am to 4:30pm.
During your renewal, you will be asked to take a vision test.
Pay and receive your temporary license. Your CDL will arrive in the mail within 10 - 21 days.
